The Asian Rowing Junior Championship 2022 was held at the Royal Thai Navy’s central rowing area (Rayong, Thailand). The Vietnamese delegation competed in the contents for single boat, team and quadruple boat under regulations.
As the result, two athletes Pham Thi Hue and Dinh Thi Hao won gold medal in the women double-seat single-scull event. Four athletes Pham Thi Thao, Ho Thi Ly, Dinh Thi Hao and Luong Thi Thao overcame Thailand to win the gold medal in the women lightweight quadruple event.
In the women’s single-seat single-scull event, athlete Ho Thi Duy excellently won gold medal. In the women’s quadruple event, rowers Pham Thi Ngoc Anh, Le Thi Hien, Ha Thi Vui and Du Thi Bong won gold medal.

In women’s quadruple double-scull event, the gold medal belonged to athletes Tran Thi Kiet, Ho Thi Ly, Nguyen Thi Giang and Pham Thi Hue.
In addition to 5 gold medals, the Rowing Vietnam team also won 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.
In the end, the Vietnamese delegation ranked second after China.
