Ba Vi: Focusing on communication for celebrating the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day

Before the development of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ba Vi district focused on implementing communication activities about Vietnamese Family Day. Illustrative image. 

The implementation period starts from June 2021, focusing on communication peaking between June 20, 2021 and June 30, 2021. Communication activities for celebrating the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day are held together with communication of prevention and combating domestic violence, focusing on such contents as Communication, advocacy, and practice of cozy family meal (within family members) on Monday, June 28, 2021 (Vietnamese Family Day) from 17h00-19h00, depending on the conditions of each family to organize accordingly. Organizing visual communication and promotion of messages on Family, Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, Law on Marriage and Family, Law on Gender Equality, Law on Children, Law on Human Trafficking, Family Code of Conduct, etc. on the system of posters, banners, and flags on main roads, densely populated areas, and village cultural houses in the district. Communicating on the radio system of the district and communes and towns; promoting local communication activities.

In addition, the district also strengthens communication, education and advocacy to raise awareness about domestic violence prevention and control; supports victims by domestic violence; conducts socialization of domestic violence prevention and control; honors the fine traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese families, enhances the role and responsibility of each family in taking care of building a family that is truly everyone’s home. In the family, members need to stick, care, love, connect and care for their children, especially replicating the theme “Peaceful family – happy society”. In particular, the district will commend organizations and individuals who have made great contributions to family affairs, especially those who do family work in the community, typical cultural families, the family of “Exemplary grandparents and parents, good children”.

Activities are organized to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, branches, socio-political organizations and people in the district to build a prosperous, progressive, and sustainable family.
