Lifelong Learning Response Week takes place from October 1 to October 7, 2021, focusing on digital transformation to continue promoting the deep learning movement among the people, helping to raise awareness people from all walks of life on the role and significance of digital transformation for lifelong learning and the necessity of lifelong learning, build a learning society, strengthen responsibility and mobilize the attention and participation of authorities at all levels, departments, branches, unions, agencies and units to take advantage of the technology platform to diversify channels and tools of lifelong learning, meeting the learning needs of the people in the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some main activities during the Week are organized by Chuong My district in the online form, including promoting and renewing information and propaganda activities on the mass media, electronic portals of relevant units, organizations, social networking sites (Facebook, Youtube, Zalo, etc.) about the importance and role of digital transformation in providing lifelong learning opportunities for everyone in the context of social distancing; applying digital technology in organizing teaching and learning activities and library activities in educational institutions; organizing free/low-fee online classes and courses for children and adults… which integrates and introduces learning contents, lessons and learning materials suitable for each target group of people learning through online software (Zoom, Google Meet…), establish online clubs, forums, contests… creating conditions for all people to participate in healthy and useful learning and exchange activities, help to strengthen connections and contribute to ensuring protect the mental and physical health of the people in the context that cultural, artistic, sports and outdoor activities restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is required to organize classes, training, seminars, exchange activities with rich, flexible and practical learning contents and forms in many fields of social life, especially topics of skills to use modern technology applied in life and work for people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, encourage enterprises operating in the field of technology to coordinate, accompany and sponsor organizations and educational institutions to deploy training courses and guidance on skills in searching, exploiting and using information. information on the Internet safely and effectively for students, parents, officials and employees in the locality; build and develop free educational apps, games… combined with healthy entertainment to create a useful playground for children, pupils, students… to develop essential skills and competencies in the digital age. Chuong My District People’s Committee requires that the organization of the Week must be appropriate in the context that the COVID-19 pandemic is still complicated; associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the XIII Party Congress, the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels and the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1373/QD-TTg dated July 30, 2021, approving the Project “Building of learning society between 2021 and 2030”.
Chuong My District People’s Committee will hold the online Opening Ceremony at 7:30 am on October 1, 2021 at the bridge point of Room 102 of the District People’s Committee and the online meeting room of the communes and towns.
