Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 – June 28, 2021); to promote communication about the meaning and role of family meals in today’s life, Phuc Tho district organized an online contest “Family meal, coziness and love” for families from 2 generations or more in the area.

Each family can participate in 1 contest and choose 1 of 2 forms of competition: Photo or video clip, accompanied by a short article of no more than 100 words on the meaning of the theme “Family meal, coziness and love” or share recipes and secrets to cooking one or two of the family’s favorite dishes to create content to introduce each family’s entry into the contest on the “Family Phuc Tho” Fanpage. In the form of a photo contest, each contestant is required to send 3 photos, including 1 picture of the menu, 1 picture of the family in the process of cooking, 1 picture of the rice tray. In the form of a video clip contest, each post must submit 1 video clip of no more than 2 minutes, introducing the preparation of ingredients, nutritional values, the process of family members participating in the preparation and completion, pictures of family members on the tray of rice. Video clips are encouraged with thematic staging, creative presentation, attractive, attractive to viewers. Entries will be evaluated by the score of the Organizing Committee and the score through interaction on the social network Facebook “Family of Phuc Tho”.
Through the contest, Phuc Tho district wishes to convey the message that family meals are not only a place to connect family members but also show the traditional culture of Vietnamese families. Every family should know to cherish every moment of family reunion with cozy and loving meals, to join hands to build a civilized and happy family.
