On 20 April, at Son Tay town, the Department of Culture and sports organized a refreshening course on the visual propaganda work and ways to accelerate the socialization of propaganda activities at grassroots level with a view to improving the workers’ professionalism specializing in the field of culture, information and sports in the entire area of Ha Noi City.

Attending the training course were Mr. Nguyen Cong Quang, Head of the Propaganda Section, the Department of Grassroots Culutal Management, the Ministry of Culture, sports and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Khac Loi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ha Noi; Ms Do thi Kim Oanh, Director of the Centre of Information and Exhibition, together with course members coming from 30 districts, towns within the entire city.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Cong Quang, Head of the Propaganda Section, the Department of Grassroots Culutal Management, the Ministry of Culture, sports and Tourism shared his experiences in the visual propaganda work which has been recently carried out in the area of Ha Noi city.
For the past years, the visual propaganda work has receceived much attention and guidance from the municipal administration and it has become a spearhead, bringing about substantial effectivenesses in service of the country’s and city’s tasks. Through the lively visual images, easy to remember, to understand and to follow, the propaganda work has contributed to creating a joyful, inspiring atmostphere, encouraring people to enthusiastically emulate to overfulfil the socio-economic targets set out by the locality.
Coordination in implementing the socialization for propaganda activities has been effectively made. Resources which have been mobilized from the society for the propaganda are under various forms, which help enhancing the propaganda efficiency on the occassion of celebrating the major events of the country as well as the city.

Speaking at the training course, Mr. Nguyen Khac Loi, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture and sports said: So far, Ha Noi People’s Committee has signed Decision No. 01/2016/QD-UBND to release the Regulation on the management of the outdoor advertizing activities within Ha Noi’s area which will serve as an important ground for the implementation of socialization in the aspect of propaganda work. He also noted that in the process of going ahead with the above mission, all the districts and towns should have to work closely with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ha Noi in order to make a consistency in the whole city.
