The concert “Sparkling Night” opened with the work Midsummer’s night Dream, including famous excerpts such as Wedding March, Scherzo, Intermezzo.

Part 2 of the program is the classic Arias and Romances of great composers of Germany, France, Italy… with the charismatic lead of conductor Dong Quang Vinh. With this part, the audience will be lost in all emotions with music, from the quiet melody in Nessun Dorma (Turandot – Puccini) to the magical sounds of the Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute – Mozart), and finally ended with the joyful melody of Brindisi – The Drinking Song (Latraviata – Verdi).

The concert “Sparkling Night” had the participation of leading opera artists of Vietnam such as: Huy Duc, To Loan, Tung Lam and some young faces of Vietnam National Opera and Ballet such as Thanh Binh and Bui Trang. Performing in the program were also the VNOB Choir and Hanoi Voices Choir.

In the role of the program’s art director, artist Phan Manh Duc shared: We hope that “Sparkling Night” will be an exciting comeback with high quality, to meet the expectations of audiences who love the academic arts of the Capital in particular and the public in general.

Recently, the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet has been loved by the audience through a number of concert performances, including the musical ” Les Misérables” and more recently the concert “Sparkling Night“. However, this is considered a rather picky art form. Therefore, the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet is gradually bringing symphony, opera and ballet closer to the audience, to bring this art line closer to the public’s demand for enjoyment.
