The campaign is aimed at attracting and stimulating the artistic creativity of a large number of musicians and all walks of life, contributing to creating valuable, moving music works to commemorate and credit Youth volunteer force in different periods during national protection and construction and construction.
Participants include Vietnamese citizens living, working, studying at home and abroad, foreigners living, working, and studying in Vietnam.
Regarding the composition, the works reflect the glorious traditional history of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteers Force in different periods; commemorate and credit the sacrifices and gratitude of generations of young volunteers; arouse and promote heroic traditions and revolutionary qualities of the youth volunteer force in the new era.
The contest work is presented by phonogram (clearly stating the author of the lyrics and music), typed or handwritten on A4 size paper, accompanied by a recording CD of the demo work. Songs must be newly composed, unpublished in any way and without any dispute over copyright or copyright. Along with the track recordings (and CD, if any), the work’s records should have a registration form including Name of the author registering for the contest, stage name (if any); date of birth, ID number or Citizen ID, contact address, phone number; the theme of the contest work (if needed for interpretation); number of works for the contest (in case of works with co-authors, full information of the authors is required).
The Organizing Committee plans to award prizes: 01 prize A (VND 30 million), 01 prize B (VND 20 million), 01 prize C (VND 10 million), and 5 consolation prizes (each prize of VND 7 million) with written certificates.
Contest works are sent by post or directly to the Organizing Committee of the Campaign to compose songs about Youth Volunteers, Thanh Nien Newspaper Culture – Arts Department (located at No. 268 – 270, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
The deadline for receiving entries is until June 25, 2020.
