While the whole country in general and Hanoi city, in particular, have actively fought against the COVID-19 pandemic, teacher Quyet made a great impression on everyone for his creative propaganda on pandemic prevention and control. Securing a cabinet loudspeaker set on his motorbike, teacher Quyet rides his motorbike to many small lane and alleys twice a day to raise people’s awareness and knowledge about pandemic prevention.

Teacher Nguyen Van Quyet is preparing for his trips to propagate COVID pandemic prevention
Teacher Quyet said that he must do something to help society during the pandemic. With the awareness of a young man and the responsibility of a citizen, teacher Quyet is very concerned about the fact that many Hanoians still show their subjectiveness toward the pandemic by frequently going out, leading to the risk of virus spread. Responding to the launch of Cau Giay District Youth Union on prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic through the contest “Message of victory – Design of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control communication and propaganda products”, teacher Quyet decided to take his propaganda trips since April 10, 2020.
Realizing that propaganda cars can only access big roads and streets, teacher Quyet chose to use his motorbike to carry out propaganda in small alleys and lanes with the motto “Propagating each lane, each house, and each person” in the morning and the afternoon until the pandemic is eliminated. His propaganda content was approved by Cau Giay District Youth Union, mentioning the danger of the pandemic; knowledge and skills to prevent and control the pandemic; the results that Vietnam and Hanoi city have achieved in pandemic prevention. Teacher Quyet always updates information on disease treatment results, ensuring accurate and timely propaganda to other people.
Teacher Quyet said that he feels happy seeing that his words are listened to by many people. “When I see a crowd talking, I just disseminate news while standing a few meters away from them”. The message “You should only go out when necessary; Have more knowledge about COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control” that teacher Quyet conveys via his speaker helped disband the crowd a few minutes later. Messages “The pandemic may access anyone. If everyone raises their awareness and responsibility by strictly complying with all regulations of the Government and Hanoi City, the pandemic will be repelled and the normal life may be recovered” is the desire of teacher Quyet when acting as the “propagator” in this 4.0 era.
Teacher Quyet is also one of the individuals actively participating in activities to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic launched by Cau Giay District Youth Union such as Contest “Message of victory – Design of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control communication and propaganda products”; training on COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control; establishment of a youth team who will, in collaboration with agencies, promptly provide necessities to people residing on lane 165 Cau Giay subject to isolation because of COVID-19 pandemic; donating speakers to local hospitals and medical centers; making and giving face shields to doctors and medical staff at the frontline, and so on. Especially, in the contest “Message of victory – Design of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control communication and propaganda products”, as the Person in charge of Dich Vong B Primary School Team, teacher Quyet has inspired and encouraged his students to take part in the contest. In just 5 days, students from the school submitted hundreds of good video clips, paintings, poems, and the like, to the contest.
Cadres and people in Hanoi capital are joining together in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on propaganda method. The action of teacher Nguyen Van Quyet is highly appreciated and considered a good example for everyone in the process of eliminating COVID-19 pandemic.
