On October 14, 2021, the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of Ba Vi district cooperated with the Representative Board of the District Elderly Association to organize the Cultural and Sports Festival of the Ba Vi District Elderly Association in 2021 in response to the Action Month for the Vietnamese Elderly and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese Elder tradition.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, cultural, artistic and sports activities in the Ba Vi District Culture and Sports Festival 2021 will be held in the form of a clip presentation. The Elderly Associations of communes and towns have made clips of cultural and sports, only appointed representatives of the commune’s elderly to attend the festival to ensure social distancing. 28 the Elderly Associations of communes and townships participated in the arts. A series of Quan ho folk songs, cheo tunes and contemporary music were filmed and shown at the festival, such as the performances: Dedicating the Party to Quan Ho, Warm sunshine of the homeland, Innovation of homeland; Vietnam – my homeland; Uncle Ho visit his hometown; Thap Muoi Lotus; My dear Ba Vi, etc. According to the jury, the contest clips were all carefully prepared, with investment that met the criteria set forth by the Organizing Committee.

Within the framework of the festival, members of the Elderly Association of communes and towns in Ba Vi also performed martial arts, tai chi fan, tai chi, dance sports… with various forms, variety and many other practical and useful activities.
At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 excellent prizes to the Elderly Association of Vat Lai Commune, the Elderly Association of Phu Chau Commune; 04 A1 prizes, 22 A2 prizes for other units.
