The model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time” is unanimously supported by the people
As one of the first communes of Dan Phuong district to early apply the model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”, Phuong Dinh commune has quickly implemented the signing of a written commitment. The commune’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control visited and each household and requested them to sign the commitment, gaining the consensus from the people.
The Fatherland Front Committee of Phuong Dinh commune organized the signing of a written commitment with residents on the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention and control work.
“I completely agree with the contents of the commitment “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”. My husband and I always ask our children to strictly follow the regulations, absolutely not to leaving home when not necessary, and not coming into close contact with neighbors during the social distancing period.” – said Ms. Vuong Thi Lien, a resident of Co Ngoa village, Phuong Dinh commune.
Mr. Pham Van Bac, the Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Phuong Dinh commune said that determining this is the critical period, all works need to be implemented urgently, quickly and with high efficiency. Therefore, within less than 24 hours, 3,343 out of 3,343 households in Phuong Dinh commune signed a written commitment on strictly abiding by all regulations on the Covid-19 prevention and control work. Along with that, the local authority also regularly propagates, educates, requests, explains, persuades, guides, and asks each household to stay at home, not to leave their house unnecessarily, and strictly follow the slogan “Keep staying at the place where you are”.
Up to now, 16 out of 16 communes and towns of Dan Phuong district have applied the model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”.
The model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time” has been effectively applied during the social distancing period.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, the Head of An Son 1 village, Thuong Mo commune, said that the model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time” has contributed to protecting each resident, their family, and the community. 100% of people in the village now keep staying at home, giving up the habit of talking to and coming into close contact with neighbors. Ms. Thanh also said that since the commitment was signed, there has been a significant decrease in the number of people and vehicles going outside, except for those who have to go to work at businesses and offices, provided that they are issued with travel permits.
Major Hoang Xuan Khanh, the Chief of Public Security of Thuong Mo commune, Dan Phuong district said that before the commitment was signed, the communal public security handled some cases of violations, however, since the commitment was signed, people strictly comply with regulations, and no one goes out unnecessarily.

Up to now, 16 out of 16 communes and towns of Dan Phuong district have applied the model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”. All families are committed to: Taking the pandemic prevention and control measures; Complying with 5K regulations: mask, disinfection, not gathering, distance, medical declaration; Staying at home, only going out when necessary, for example, for buying food, foodstuff, medicine, emergency, medical examination and treatment, vaccination, and other cases of emergencies; Going on business trips, working at agencies, offices, factories, production facilities, and essential goods and service business facilities that are allowed to operate; Always keeping a distance of at least 2m when communicating, not gathering more than 2 people in public places other than offices, schools, hospitals; Making daily medical declaration, immediately contacting local authorities and medical facilities when having symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, and loss of taste appear; Actively declaring to the authorities; Detecting and reporting on any people returning from other localities.
According to the data provided by Dan Phuong District Public Security, from August 27 to August 31, the police force in the whole district had sanctioned nearly 300 cases going out unnecessarily. This number tends to decrease in the first 2 days of September after households have signed the commitment “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”, especially during the social distancing period on the holiday 2/9.
To effectively apply the model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”, to arouse good family behavior in the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control work, on September 4, Mr. Do Dinh Hong, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports signed and issued a document to the People’s Committees of districts and towns, requesting to focus on propagating and educating the strict implementation of the guiding documents issued by the Central and City authorities on pandemic prevention and control work in organizing cultural and sports activities, and other activities at historical, cultural relics, scenic spots. In particular, districts and towns need to promote the application of the model “Families staying safe during Covid-19 time”, request residents to sign a written commitment on staying at home and not leaving their house unnecessarily and follow the slogan “Keep staying at the place where you are”. Additionally, the Cultural and Sports Industry of Hanoi city further informs and propagates in the most consistent, accurate, and timely manner, about the situation and measures to prevent and control the pandemic for people to know, trust, support, feel assured, and voluntarily comply with the pandemic prevention and control regulations, and protect themselves, their families, and the whole community.
