At the same time, to promote production, business, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, strive to comprehensively fulfill the 2020 plan targets and launch emulation plan for successful completion of the goals and tasks of the plan for the year 2021.
Organizations, agencies and units in the city have specific plans, assign their staff to strictly observe the Tet holiday on-duty; not to affect daily life and production and business activities of the people and enterprises. After the Tet holiday, agencies, units and enterprises must immediately get to work, strictly follow the discipline and administrative rules.

In particular, to take care of families under preferential treatment policy, people with meritorious services to the revolution, people in difficult circumstances; poor households, homeless people, long-term treatment patients in hospitals, especially dialysis patients with difficult circumstances; people in remote areas; workers with difficulty are working in industrial zones, export processing zones, industrial clusters, etc. in the city.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee requested to continue to thoroughly grasp and well implement Directive No. 41-CT/TW dated February 5, 2015, of the XI Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership in management and organization of festivals. The organization of fireworks to celebrate the New Year 2021 and the Lunar New Year Festival 2021 in the city must be in accordance with practical conditions, economical, not using the State budget, ensuring absolute safety in fire prevention, security and order and prevention of Covid-19 epidemic.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee asked to strictly comply with the policy of not organizing Tet visits to superiors and leaders at all levels; it is strictly forbidden to give Tet gifts to leaders of all levels in any form; do not go to pagodas or festivals if not assigned and during business hours; do not use the state budget, vehicles, public property as prescribed for festival activities, entertainment…
Along with that, to strengthen market forecast and management, stabilize prices, ensure supply-demand balance for goods, services, essential goods, promptly meet the consumer demand of the people before, during and after Tet holiday; detect and strictly and promptly handle all acts of commercial fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, speculation, hoarding, pushing up goods prices to abnormally high levels to gain illegal profits.
Proactively plan to ensure sufficient means of transporting goods and public transport for the people to travel conveniently during Tet holiday; organize free car trips to bring workers working in difficult circumstances back home to celebrate Tet holiday. Maintain and well implement preventive medicine; closely inspect and supervise the work of food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, and disease prevention and control in the city.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also emphasized the requirement to deploy a peak wave of crime prevention, fighting, attacks and suppression; handling law violations and social evils; absolutely safe protection of key targets, works, political, external relations, socio-cultural events taking place in the city, especially the 13th National Party Congress./.
