The festival included following activities: flower arrangement contest, “Godmother” program, and folk dance contest. The art flower arrangement contest themed “Family – Loving arm” featured 22 teams from the Women’s Unions of communes and towns and 5 teams from the grassroots trade union in the district, with nearly 100 contestants. After 60 minutes, with capacity and ingenuity, the contestants created artistic flower arrangements that deeply expressed family love, honored the profound values of the Vietnamese family. The organization Committee selected and awarded to the excellent flower arrangements at the Contest. The first prize was awarded to the Bui Region Women’s Union. The second prize was awarded to Bui Region Trade Union – Tran Phu Kindergarten Trade Union, Bui Region Women’s Union, Office Region Women’s Union – District Public Security Women’s Union. The third prize was awarded to the Women’s Union of Day region, the Women’s Union of Bui region, and the Women’s Union of Sau region and consolation prizes was awarded to 4 teams.

In the “Godmother” program, Corporates and individuals have given funds and bicycles to 16 orphans in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 128 million VND. Of which, representatives of AM organization sponsored 10 children; Thang Long Hi-tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company sponsored 6 children. The “Godmother” program helps orphans overcome difficulties in their life, is an opportunity to bond love of, spread kindness, share and concern of Women’s Unions of all levels and of communities to families and children with special difficulties.

The Folk Dance Contest featured 10 teams, with more than 200 women from the Women’s Unions of communes and towns and the Trade Union emulation clusters in the district. With careful preparation, the female public servants, members brought to the Contest the exciting and attractive dances, including Tango, Zumba, Chachacha, or integrated revolutionary music, folk melodies, etc. Thereby, they showed their ingenuity, confidence and dynamism of Chuong My women, promoting cultural, artistic, and sports movements of the masses in all female walks of life, building the image of women with health and knowledge in the new era to build happy families. The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Women’s Union of Tran Phu commune, second prize to the Day region Trade Union emulation cluster, Bui region Trade Union emulation cluster, awarded the third prize to the Sau Region Trade Union Emulation Cluster, the Women’s Union of Thuy Xuan Tien Commune, the Women’s Union of Hong Phong Commune.
