Exhibition “Cultural Week of Green Heritage Tourism – A meeting place for people and nature”

The exhibition presents and promotes the cultural, commercial potential and attractiveness of tourism in the World Natural Heritage Sites, Biosphere Reserves, ASEAN Heritage Park, National Parks of provinces/cities… Along with that, the exhibition also aims to promote the responsibility, patriotism and pride of the people of Vietnam, especially the young generation with the country’s Natural..

The exhibition presents and promotes the cultural, commercial potential and attractiveness of tourism in the World Natural Heritage Sites, Biosphere Reserves, ASEAN Heritage Park, National Parks of provinces/cities…

Along with that, the exhibition also aims to promote the responsibility, patriotism and pride of the people of Vietnam, especially the young generation with the country’s Natural Heritage; strengthen the awareness and role of community responsibility in conserving biodiversity, natural environment, protecting and limiting the bad effects of climate change.  This is also an occasion for localities to meet, exchange learning, exchange experiences in preserving and promoting the value of natural heritage among regions in the country.

The exhibition “Cultural Week of Green Heritage Tourism – A meeting place for people and nature” was organized by the Viet Nam Cultural Arts Exhibition Center in Hanoi in cooperation with the Vietnam National Museum of Nature; The Fund to support the preservation of Vietnam’s cultural heritage; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Culture and Sports, Cultural Center, Tourism Promotion Center… in some provinces/cities with many activities.

The Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve will now be featured in the “Ho Chi Minh City Natural Heritage Space” at the Expo.

Photo exhibition “Vietnam Natural Heritage” presents Vietnam’s natural heritage, natural beauties, biodiversity values, cultural beauties, scenic spots, daily human life activities associated with the natural environment at the World Natural Heritage Sites, Biosphere Reserves, Asean Park…

The “Vietnam Nature Museum – A meeting place for people and nature” showcases “Natural heritage space of Ninh Binh province”,  “Natural heritage space of Thanh Hoa province”.

The display area of the product “Hai Phong sculpture ceramics” presents the works of the Superior Artist Pham Van Tuyen.

In the A1 Building Exhibition area will take place the “Calligraphy Lotus Art Space” and display traditional flute and kite with the theme “Heritage kite”.

With the theme “Cultural heritage of traditional Vietnamese tourism and craft villages”, A3 house exhibition area will display products of 10 typical craft villages from 24 villages and artisans: Bat Trang, Chu Do ceramics; Son Dong golden-painted wood, Van Ha handicraft wood; pearl mosaic, lacquer of Chuon Ngo, Ha Thai; Quat Dong embroidery; knitted bamboo and rattan of Phu Vinh, Quang Binh; Bronze Sculpture of Dong Xam, Dai Bai; stone sculpture of Tho An, Thuy Ung, silk of Van Phuc, Nha Xa; Dong Ho folk painting; Hoi An lantern; glass painting art… Besides, there is the photo exhibition “Vietnam Vocational Village – 4-direction meeting point”.

The products of some famous craft villages in Hanoi such as Quat Dong embroidery, Phu Vinh knitted bamboo rattan, Ha Thai lacquer, etc. will be displayed at the “Cultural heritage of craft tourism and traditional craft villages of Vietnam”.

Exhibitors B1 and B2 will be the showcase of “Natural Heritage Space of Ho Chi Minh City”, “Natural Heritage Space of Hai Phong City”, Natural Heritage Space of Quang Nam Province, “Natural Heritage Space of Gia Lai Province”.  The display zone will showcase Natural Heritage – and tourism products, typical locally grown products.

The outdoor exhibition area will display “Natural Heritage Space of Ha Giang Province”, “Natural Heritage Space of Dien Bien Province “, “Viet Tea Culinary Art Space”, Space “Cultural Heritage Exchange, Culinary Tourism in craft villages and craft streets”; Folk games, art performances; Art glass paintings of Pham Hong Vinh Artist, Vietnamese Village Artists and Hoi An Lantern (Quang Nam).

Along with the exhibition activities are cultural and artistic exchange activities taking place during the Cultural Week of Green Heritage Tourism: Regional cultural identity exchange, Thai spoon dancing art exchange, Tay Nguyen Xoan dance; Student singing exchange with the theme “Youth – Green aspirations”…

The exhibition “Culture Week of Green Heritage Tourism – A meeting place for people and nature” will take place from November 21-25, 2022 at the Viet Nam Cultural Arts Exhibition Center (No. 2, Hoa Lu, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi).
