A festival for collective dancing, singing and songs of children in the capital –

          Summer – childhood has always been a common topic and a source of inspiration for creating and organizing cultural and artistic activities for children with the desire of providing an exciting, interesting and healthy summer for children. With such above desire, in the implementation of Hanoi Party Committee, Ha Noi People’s Committee, Ha Noi Department..

          Summer – childhood has always been a common topic and a source of inspiration for creating and organizing cultural and artistic activities for children with the desire of providing an exciting, interesting and healthy summer for children.

With such above desire, in the implementation of Hanoi Party Committee, Ha Noi People’s Committee, Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports organized a festival for collective dancing, singing and songs of children in the capital – summer 2017. This festival has been considered as a traditional activity of children in the capital for many years.

In order to prepare for this year’s festival, from the beginning of 2017, the Cultural Center of the city organized a campaign to compose children songs that attracts the participation of many musicians, choreographers with hundreds of works written for children. Accordingly, the Cultural Center provided training(s) for 10 songs and 4 collective dances for the excellent singers of 30 districts, wards and towns and simultaneously issued the album called “Children songs for summer 2017 as a guiding document for the grassroots.

A final city-level examination took place during 03 days (02, 03 and 04 August 2017) with participation of 26/30 districts and wards in many collective dancing, singing and children songs of good quality, good arrangement, creativeness, attracting participation of children.

As judged by the Organization Board, collective dancing, singing and children songs may be considered as one of art activities which are preferred and participated by children.
