Flying dreams” is an art project with unique children’s performances, which was first released by Youth Theatre of Vietnam in the summer of 2019, attracting a large number of young and pervasive audiences in society.

Welcoming the summer of 2020 and International Children’ Day on 1/6, the program series of “Flying dreams” project, season 2 has been kicked off with three programs: Children’s fun play “Vaxilixa and the Wicked Witch”, Children’s Musical play “Infinity War” and Musical – Comedy “Trong Choai, Where Are You Going?

Vaxilixa and the Wicked Witch” is a play adapted from the story “Two Maple Trees” by writer E. So-vac-xo, about a mother’s journey to find two giddy children who lost in the jungle. The mother brought the wild beast friends together to work hard together, fighting against the wicked witch, in the end and won with a great love for her children. The performance with the dramatic stage space and lively music will gradually immerse the children in the emotional world through an exciting journey with lovely characters in the forest.

The “Infinity War” – An interesting and creative play adapted from pure Vietnamese folk tales combined with modern heroic figures telling about the journey against evil of “Captain Ty” and friends. The musical performance is full of funny but also emotional situations, bringing a valuable message of solidarity and compassion.

“Trong Choai, Where Are You Going?” is a program of Dance Music – Fun Drama in a modern variety style with highly interactive songs, dances and dramatic stories, the audience will be involved in the story journey with funny exchanges, question and answer. The play made a strong impression on the children’s audience with brilliant artistic colors, and the educational content was skillfully stageized, suitable for the children’s age.

“Vaxilixa and the Wicked Witch” Play- Youth Theatre of Vietnam

The series of performances “Flying dreams” season 2 marks the return of Youth Theatre of Vietnam after a period of social distancing from the influence of Covid-19 epidemic. The program was sent a lot of love and enthusiasm by artists and actors of the Youth Theatre with the desire to join hands with the whole society to win the epidemic. Stemming from this sense, to give gratitude to the medical team, doctors and medical staff at the frontline anti-epidemic, the “Flying Dreams” project will donate thousands of program tickets for doctors, medical staff at Hanoi hospitals: Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital… who have been and are staying at the front line of anti-epidemic action.

Accompanying the series of programs of “Flying dreams” with the Youth Theatre, Vietjet airline wishes to spread messages of noble humanity, genuine artistic values to the community, especially the future generation of the country.

It is known that all performances in the next “Flying dreams” project will be performed by Youth Theatre in accordance with anti-COVID-19 pandemic standards. Coming to the theater to watch the show, the children and their parents will be instructed the necessary measures such as maintaining a safe distance, measuring body temperature, hand sanitizing and being given a mask when needed for the purpose of bringing the maximum experience and convenience in the theater while ensuring the safety of the epidemic prevention.

According to the plan, “Flying dreams” will have many performances on the International Children’s Day on 1/6/2020 at Theater at No. 11 Ngo Thi Nham, Hanoi. Hopefully, the program will bring to the children of the Capital the useful and memorable entertaining moments during the summer vacation shorter than every year due to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
