The “National Unity in Building Cultural Life” movement in Gia Lam district in 2023 has been meticulously implemented by the district’s Steering Committee for the movement. Leadership tasks focused on directing the implementation of key aspects of the movement, rallying the people to register for participating in building cultural families, villages, hamlets, and cultural neighborhoods. Cultural organizations, units, and cultural enterprises have successfully attracted a large number of residents, as well as officials, employees, and workers actively participating. The evaluation process for the titles “Cultural Family,” “Cultural Hamlet,” and “Cultural Residential Group” has been carried out in strict accordance with regulations.

According to reports, the total number of registered Cultural Families in the entire district is 71,916 households, reaching 99.1%. The number of households achieving the “Cultural Family” title is 69,744 out of 72,534, achieving 96.2% (an increase of 0.6% compared to 2022, equal to 107% of the assigned target). In 17 out of 22 communes and towns, the rate of achieving the “Cultural Family” title is 95% or higher. Communes and towns with high rates of achieving the “Cultural Family” title include Duong Xa, Duong Quang, Kim Son, Da Ton, Trau Quy Town, and Phu Thi.

Based on statistics, the number of villages proposing district recognition as “Cultural Villages” is 122, reaching 99.2% (equal to 110% of the assigned target, an increase of 0.4% compared to 2022). The number of residential groups proposing district recognition as “Cultural Residential Group” is 41, reaching 100% (equal to 111% of the assigned target). Additionally, during the 2019-2023 period, 151 out of 164 cultural hamlets and residential groups in the entire district have consistently met the criteria for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023).

Currently, relevant departments and agencies are reviewing, cross-referencing, and evaluating the results of evaluating the titles to propose commendations for outstanding individuals and residential areas that have effectively implemented the “National Unity in Building Cultural Life” movement in 2023.
