On the afternoon of November 18, 2022, at the special National Monument, especially Hai Ba Trung Temple – Pagoda – Common House, People’s Committee of Hai Ba Trung District celebrated the 17th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 – November 23, 2022).

Hai Ba Trung District has 51 monuments inventoryed by the City, of which 35 have been ranked, including 1 special National Monument (Hai Ba Trung Temple – Pagoda – Common House relic cluster), 19 national-level monuments, 13 city-level monuments). The district has 23 places commemorating historical events – the resistance revolution. Many monuments have become regular attractions for tourists, contributing to socio-economic development, promoting the image of the district in particular and Hanoi capital in general to international friends.
Over the years, the Party Committee, government and people of the district have focused on managing, preserving and promoting the heritage value of the thousand-year-old capital; The District Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of the district promulgate resolutions, programs and plans to improve the responsibilities of all levels and sectors, and concentrate resources to strengthen the management, conservation and promotion of heritage values.

Determining that the conservation and promotion of the value of relics in the district is one of the key tasks, in the period 2016-2020, Hai Ba Trung district has invested in 7 relics, totaling 89,223 billion from the district budget and socialization. In the period of 2021-2025, the district plans to invest in 7 projects to restore and embellish relics, supplement auxiliary items to promote the destination’s value from the district budget and socialize with a total budget of over 335 billion VND.
In order to preserve and promote the values of cultural heritages and transform them into resources for sustainable socio-economic development, Hai Ba Trung district requires all levels to continue to lead, direct, and propagate. propagate and implement seriously and effectively the Party’s guidelines, resolutions and directives on cultural work, attach importance to the preservation and promotion of the values of cultural heritages associated with socio-economic development. At the same time, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels should further enhance their role, be proactive and active in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage, contributing to accelerating the implementation of economic development programs – society, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Along with strengthening the management for Mother worshiping activities, the traditional festival has gradually come into order, created a database and built a management system for relics records in district, digitize the management of records at 100% of the monuments to promote the value, associated with tourism development in the area.
