Thanks to this, Hanoi athlete Dinh Phuong Thanh won the ticket to Olympics in Japan.

Dinh Phuong Thanh will compete in the all-around event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

According to the confirmation from the leader of the gymnastics department, the General Department of Sports, athlete Dinh Phuong Thanh won tickets to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games: “The Asian Championships in May were not held but the achievements in 2019 World Championships were considered for selection. The best athletes in Asia all passed the qualifying round, and Dinh Phuong Thanh was selected for one of the remaining two places”.
Winning tickets to the 2020 Olympics, Vietnamese gymnast Dinh Phuong Thanh will compete in the all-around event. Up to now, Dinh Phuong Thanh is the second gymnast to win tickets to Japan. Previously, Le Thanh Tung excellently competed at the world gymnastics tournament in Germany in 2019 to become one of the first athletes of Vietnamese sports to have a place at the Olympics.
Currently, Vietnamese sports have had 6 places in Olympics in Japan, including Huy Hoang (swimming), Nguyen Van Duong (boxing), Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu and Do Anh Nguyet (archery), Dinh Phuong Thanh, and Le Thanh Tung (Gymnastics).
