Regarding the achievements of the country and the Capital in 2020, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of City Party Committee said that, under the leadership and direction of the City Party Committee, together with the efforts of all classes of people, the socioeconomic aspect of the Capital has achieved comprehensive results, to be specific, 16/22 targets reached and exceeded the plan. Generally, the city’s GRDP for the whole year 2020 is estimated to increase by 3.98%, 1.4 times higher than the national growth rate; State budget revenue reached VND 286,258 billion, equaling 102.7% of the cost estimate and increasing by 6% compared to 2019 – the year with the highest ever budget revenue.
Regarding the mission in 2021, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of Hanoi City Party Committee said that right after the successful organization of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee, Hanoi City formulated working regulations of the Executive Committee of City Party Committee; formulated full-course work programs with many new points in the fields: Party building, economic, urban, security – defense development, new countryside building, etc. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen affirmed that the today’s achievements of Capital and the country are thanks to the great contribution of the revolutionary soldiers who are always good examples for the young generation.

Major General Huynh Dac Huong, the Head of Hanoi City’s Communication Board of the revolutionary soldiers who were arrested and imprisoned by enemies thanked the Hanoi City Party Committee for its interest and affirmed that, despite their old age, each soldier will always promote the revolutionary spirit, mobilize families and relatives to well observe all Party’s regulations, State policies and laws, and contribute to building the Capital and the country.
