Mr. Dao Minh Chuc – representing Hanoi – T&T Sport Joint Stock Company and assistant coach Nguyen Tien Dung, player Pham Thanh Luong and player Do Hung Dung presented 4800 boxes of milk, 2000 fabric masks and 1000 sweet cakes at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee – Hanoi City, with the expectation that the above items will be delivered to patients and medical staff, militia and logistics staff who are on duty in Hanoi city in the shortest time.

As information has been posted, on March 31, Hanoi Football Club and Chairman Mr. Do Vinh Quang personally donated 1 billion VND to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases and VND 500 million to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the prevention and control of Covid-19.

However, in the past few days, new infections have risked spreading in the community, even directly affecting the “frontline” doctors, making it difficult for experts to assess the evolution. In order to join hands to help and motivate the nurses, doctors, logistics forces, players of Hanoi Football Club and its managing unit, Hanoi – T&T Sport Joint Stock Company decided to donate one more working day to purchase essential items.

At the handover ceremony, player Pham Thanh Luong said: “Over the past few days, the Hanoi Football Club often shares pictures of doctors and soldiers working in isolated areas, we were deeply moved. The Hanoi Football Club hopes these gifts will partly add energy to them to continue preventing and combating Covid-19 epidemic “.

Also at the ceremony, midfielder Do Hung Dung shared his thoughts: “I think that coaching staff, the players themselves are public people, so our responsibilities and obligations to the society need to be fulfilled more. On behalf of all the players of the club and members of the Hanoi – T&T Sport Joint Stock Company, Hung Dung would like to thank the silent heroes who are the doctors and soldiers on the whole country does not worry about the difficulties and dangers of curing Covid-19 cases. Hung Dung believes that with the joining hands of the whole community, normal life will return to each person, every family and the whole society”.

Responding to the Prime Minister’s call for support to prevent and fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, up to this point, Hanoi Football Club has supported in both forms including cash and items, estimated value up to nearly VND 2 billion.
