Following Uncle Ho’s teachings, over the years, both the political system and the people of Hoai Duc district have actively deployed and participated in the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds”. There have been many advanced examples, good people and good deeds in various fields with many models, new and creative ways of organizing, implementing emulation movements, good deeds, nice actions with humanitarian and noble meanings, which were commended and rewarded by the City People’s Committee and the District People’s Committee, influencing the people inside and outside the district.
The movement “Good people, good deeds” in 2022 and the period 1992-2022 of Hoai Duc district has had 140 individuals awarded the title of “Good people, good deeds” by the City People’s Committee; 685 individuals awarded the title “Good person, good deeds”, “Excellent example” by the District People’s Committee; many articles participating in the writing contest about good examples, good people and good deeds in the city-level patriotic emulation movement won high prizes.

In addition, the organization of a writing contest about advanced role models, good people and good deeds in the patriotic emulation movement of Hoai Duc district also contributed to raising awareness of the position, role, meaning and practical effectiveness in building and replicating the examples of good people, good deeds, outstanding exemplary individuals in the emulation movements of study, labor, production, construction and national defense of all classes of people in the district. In 2022, the Organizing Committee of the district contest received 125 entries that were meticulously prepared in both form and content, accompanied by illustrations, scientific presentation, tight layout…; reflecting real people, real things, effective propaganda and education, pervasive in social life. District Contest Organizing Committee awarded: 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 05 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes; selected 20 quality articles to submit to the City level contest. At the same time, the District People’s Committee also submitted to the City People’s Committee to award the title of “Good person, good deeds” in 2022 to 06 individuals, typically: Do Thi Thao Linh – student of class 8A at Minh Khai Secondary School who spent her lucky money of VND 2 million to contribute to building roads of flowers and murals of the commune.

Also on this occasion, Hoai Duc district launched an emulation movement to functional units and communes in the implementation of site clearance work for the construction investment project of Ring Road 4 – the central region in the district. This is a key project of special significance contributing to the expansion of development space for the Capital. The project goes through Hoai Duc district with a total length of 17.1km through 13 communes. Hoai Duc district leaders wish that the movement “Good people, good deeds” and the spread of the “Good people, good deeds” examples will become a great motivation for officials and people in the district to complete and exceed the schedule of site clearance work, creating favorable conditions for the construction of key project Ring Road 4 in Hoai Duc district.
