100% of residential areas and residential groups of the district have wireless loudspeaker systems. Facing complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, over the past time, Hoang Mai district has directed wards to strengthen propaganda, focusing on increasing the time, news and articles broadcast on the loudspeaker system, delivering leaflets, hanging banners, posters and widely propagating the contents of the Prime Minister’s Directives; documents of the Ministry of Health, the emergency telegraphy and documents and plans of Hanoi and the district to implement COVID-19 pandemic prevention to the people, thereby raising awareness and responsibility for each person to the pandemic prevention to protect the health and life of the people. Shops that do not sell essential goods all closed voluntarily. Public entertainment spots and district parks have been closed, avoiding crowds and COVID-19 infection.
Mr. Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Hoang Mai District, said: “As soon as we got the information about the COVID-19 pandemic, we have strengthened the propaganda of the guiding documents and organized various forms of propaganda for people to understand the danger level of the disease, as well as how to prevent it.”
It is known that most wards of the district have issued leaflets recommending people to prevent COVID-19 pandemic and what people should do to prevent COVID-19 pandemic. Many wards also send official letters to each household on the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic.
On April 2, 2020, on the Death Anniversary of the Hung Kings, Hoang Mai district organized a series of propaganda activities on COVID-19 pandemic prevention, in which the prominent was the propaganda convoy fully equipped with loudspeakers, banners system, visual propaganda slogans and the propaganda broadcast directly on the loudspeaker propagating about the COVID prevention and control, on the Directive No. 16 of the Prime Minister and Directive No. 05 of the City on the implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic to many streets, public places to do the work of information and propagate, etc. Also, for several months in Hoang Mai district, the district’s propaganda was deployed in various forms: Visually decorated and propagated with panels and banners in the central areas of the district, public places, offices, units, people’s committees of wards, etc. The district also regularly organizes propaganda convoys at main roads at 14/14 wards, from April 1 – 15, 2020.
In the face of the current potential dangers, Hoang Mai district continues to direct all levels, branches and localities to drastically implement measures to prevent COVID-19 pandemics, considering “anti-pandemic as anti-enemy” in the spirit of the direction of the Prime Minister./.
