Recently, the Hoang Mai District team took part in the city-level festival, held from July 27 to 29, 2023, at the outdoor stage of the City Cultural Center. The district team showcased outstanding performances at the Festival, contributing significantly to its overall success.

Following the successful organization of the District-level Festival on July 27, 2023, Hoang Mai District sent its team to participate in the city-level festival of collective dance and children’s songs in Hanoi for the year 2023.

Performance of the Hoang Mai District Team

This year’s city-level festival attracted the participation of 22 district and town units. Each unit presented a program consisting of a collective dance performance, a collective singing performance, and children’s songs, all tailored to a specific theme. The duration of each unit’s performance was 25-30 minutes.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Hoang Mai District team entered the competition alongside teams from other units, including Hoan Kiem, Ha Dong, Thuong Tin, Gia Lam, and Thanh Oai. Focusing on the theme “I Love the Motherland Vietnam,” Hoang Mai presented five performances: a collective dance titled “Four Seasons Within Me,” a chorus “I Love the Motherland Vietnam,” a solo performance “Beautiful Melody of Vietnam,” a trio “Hanoi in the Summer Sun,” and a performance titled “Following Uncle Ho’s Words.” All performances were closely aligned with the theme, earning enthusiastic support and high praise from the audience.

In general, the programs of participating teams showcased diversity in genres, including singing, dancing, and music. Collective singing and dancing performances were based on the training content provided by the city. Children’s songs were presented in various forms, such as solo, duet, trio, and ensemble. In the vibrant atmosphere of these summer days, the children of the capital gathered at the Festival to exchange, and express their talents in this enriching and fascinating artistic playground. The performances by the Hoang Mai District at the Festival were lively, uplifting, well-structured, and creatively designed. Through each song, each melody, and every dance move, the children of Hoang Mai District expressed the full spectrum of their personalities, thoughts, and emotions in their innocent, pure souls. The five competition pieces can be seen as the most vibrant and meaningful flowers, welcoming the upcoming celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hoang Mai District in November.
