On the morning of 9th June, at Sai Son Secondary School, the district Centre of Information and Sports collaborated with the Division of Training and Education to organize an opening ceremony of a universalized course on swimming for drowning protection and prevention in 2017 summer for kids and youths in the area.

This summer, in the area of Quoc Oai district, apart fro the two fortified swimming pools located in the two communes of Hoa Thach and Ngoc My, there are 3 other smart swimming pools installed at three shools, which are Sai Son Secondary School, Dong Quang Primary School and Nghia Huong Primary School. The universalized classes have been held at the three above schools, each course lasts for 12 sessions. In there, pupils have been guided directly by instructors.

The opening of the universalized course aims at helping youth and kids living in the district’ area be equipped with the basic swimming knowledge and skills, swimming techniques and rescuing methods of the drowned. By doing so, they will be able to fully grasp the ways to protect and prevent themselves from being drowned, in contribution to minimizing possible drowning accidents..
