The art program with 8 songs aims to encourage all classes of people in the capital to unite and join hands with the whole country to win the pandemic.

8 songs in the program, namely “Joining hands with Vietnam”, “Frontline soldiers against pandemic”, “Medical soldiers”, “If you do not return”, “I will return but not today”, “Lyrics on the front lines”, “Disappear Coronavirus”, “I love Vietnam”, are the result of the campaign to compose poetry and propaganda music about Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control and Action Month for Children 2021 launched by the City Cultural Center for professional and amateur authors. With two themes “For the sake of the country – For the people’s health – For our own health” and “Join hands to ensure the implementation of children’s rights, protect children during natural disasters and pandemic”. Immediately after launching, the City Cultural Center received 230 works, including 165 works of poetry, 65 works of music. Through the quality assessment of the content and art of the works, the center has selected 40 songs about pandemic prevention and control and responded to the Action Month for Children to record, print into CD, DVDs and soft files sent to the Center for Culture and Information, Culture and Sports in 30 districts across the city for propaganda purposes; carried out the compilation, publication and distribution of “Composing Poetry and Music” to serve the mass movement.

Ms. Ly Thi Thuy Hanh – Director of the City Cultural Center said: “To meet the requirements, urgency and timeliness for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in the present time, the City Cultural Center has selected works in response to the creation of propaganda on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic and response to the “Action Month for Children” by a large number of professional and non-specialist authors in the capital area, edited and built an art program consisting of 8 typical songs which diverse in genres, vivid in expression with many sincere and profound emotions to serve the propaganda of the City and encourage all classes of people in the capital to unite and join hands with the whole country to win the pandemic”.
The program will be performed to serve the public in the capital when the pandemic is safely controlled.
The art program “Joining hands with Vietnam” was recorded and broadcast by the City Cultural Center on Hanoi Radio and Television Station, in the program of Cultural and Art Space (VTV1) and public concerts in the capital when the pandemic is safely controlled.
