According to information from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Hanoi Regional Art Festival 2020 is expected to take place in late August in Hanoi. With the theme “Love and life in Hanoi”, photos taken at the festival must be taken in Hanoi and express the love of Vietnamese people and international friends for Hanoi, praise the gentle lifestyle, customs, festivals, and cultural heritage of the Capital.
The work “Bring Spring to every family” by artist Truong Tuan Giang achieved the gold medal at Hanoi Regional Art Festival 2019.
Each author can submit 8 color or black and white works, in two contents: single photo and album (each album of up to five photos) with up to 2 photo albums. No caption and author’s name is permitted on the photos. The judges mark online independently on the festival website with a dedicated photo marking software.
The organizers encourage compositions that reflect economic, cultural and social achievements; problems in contemporary life of Hanoi; state-of-the-art examples; beauty in cultural and spiritual life towards truth – goodness – beauty, building new people in Hanoi.

Participants are expected to submit their photos at website www.lienhoananhkhuvuc.vn from now to the end of July 25. The award ceremony and the opening of the festival are scheduled to take place on August 25. It is expected that the organizers will award one gold medal, two silver medals, three bronze medals and five consolation prizes.
Medal and consolation prize-winning works will be graded for the title review and participate in the 2020 Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
