At the Conference, on behalf of the District Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee – Fatherland Front Committee of Long Bien District, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Huong – Member of Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of District People’s Committee, Vice Chairman of the District Emulation and Commendation Council presented a report summarizing the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds”; Writing contest about “Advanced typical models, Good People, Good Deed” in 2022; Launching the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” in 2023 in association with the summary of 30 years of the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” in Hanoi city in the period 1992-2022.
Vice Chairman of Long Bien District People’s Committee, Dinh Thi Thu Huong said: The emulation movement “Good people – good deeds” in 2022 has attracted a large number of officials, party members and people from all walks of life in the District to participate. The contents of the movement “Good people, good deeds” closely followed the socio-economic development targets, the full-term work programs of the City Party Committee, the District Party Committee and the tasks assigned by the City People’s Committee; create a competitive atmosphere in study, labor, production, and business. At the same time, many collectives and individuals participated in the contest “Writing about advanced typical models, good people, good deeds” in 2022. The contest uncovered and introduced advanced instances of “Good people, good deeds” that are common and widespread in the fields recognized, commended, and rewarded by the district and city.

For example, the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” among cadres, civil servants and public employees of Long Bien district was implemented in association with “Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style”. It has contributed to raising the spirit, responsibility, and ethics of public service among civil servants and employees, creating many good jobs for the social community, strengthening the people’s confidence in the Party and government.

Long Bien district organizes the contest “Writing about advanced typical models, good people, and good deeds in the patriotic emulation movement” for the eighth time in 2022. As of August 2022, the Contest Organizing Committee had received 317 entries for the contest “Writing about advanced typical models, good people, and good deeds” in the Long Bien district’s patriotic movement.
At the Conference, Long Bien district praised and rewarded 24 typical individuals who were awarded the title of “Good person, good deed” by the Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee in 2022; 58 individuals won the title of “Good people, good deeds” in Long Bien district in 2022; 02 collectives, 102 individuals are exemplary examples of advanced, good people, good deeds discovered through the contest “Writing about advanced examples, good people and good deeds in patriotic emulation movement in Long Bien district in 2022 “; 09 teams and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Writing Contest about Advanced Typical Models, Good People, Good Deeds in 2022.
