In an effort to create a beneficial, safe, and wholesome playground for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival, while simultaneously imparting cultural values and traditions to the younger generation, the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts is organizing the “Mid-Autumn Festival 2023” program.

The Mid-Autumn Festival 2023 is scheduled to take place from September 27 to September 29, 2023, at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts, located at No. 2 Hoa Lu Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, featuring a myriad of exceptional activities.

The exhibition space titled “Nostalgic Memories of Traditional Mid-Autumn” will provide youngsters with a joyous traditional Mid-Autumn Festival experience, featuring traditional toys such as lion heads, paper masks, lanterns, star lanterns, procession lanterns, animal lanterns, and frog drums, all in vibrant and colorful displays.

Children join traditional Mid-autumn toy making experiences.

Alongside this, children will engage in enjoyable and educational activities, including experiencing the creation of traditional Mid-Autumn toys like lanterns, and kites, drawing and decorating paper masks, crafting animal lanterns, and making traditional Mid-Autumn cakes. They will also partake in traditional folk games such as mandarin square capturing, flag catching, bamboo jacks, blind man’s bluff, and various other interactive experiences, including fire prevention skills, circus performances, scientific games, and exploratory activities.

Notably, during the Mid-Autumn Eve Festival on the evening of September 29, the children will participate in a street parade, a festival of children’s dances and songs, a display of Mid-Autumn feasts, and the enjoyment of exceptional artistic programs and circus performances.

The festival will culminate in the beautiful “Reunion Night” themed Mid-Autumn Feast, offering an unforgettable experience for both children and their families attending.
