Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Women’s Union of Me Linh District, Bui Thi Anh Duong, emphasized the implementation of the “5 Goods, 3 Clean” model (Safe homes, sustainable livelihoods, health, knowledge, cultural living; Clean homes, clean kitchens, clean alleys) in Bong Mac area, Lien Mac commune, to effectively implement the Resolution of the Women’s Congress at all levels for the term 2021-2026. After the pilot implementation, the Women’s Union of the district will assess, draw experiences, and expand the model to 100% of the communes that achieve advanced new rural standards.

The deployment of the “5 Goods, 3 Clean” model is an innovative and practical approach to enhance the role and responsibility of women’s union members, families, and the local community in implementing the campaign “National Solidarity to Build New Countryside, Civilized Urban Areas.” The implementation process helps union members have the opportunity to learn, exchange experiences, collaborate in production activities, contribute to economic development, and collectively contribute to building an increasingly Bright-Green-Clean-Beautiful environment, participating in the construction of an advanced new rural area.

By choosing Lien Mac commune as the pilot location for the model, the Chairwoman of the Women’s Union of Me Linh District suggested that the Party Committee, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front, and other political and social organizations of Lien Mac commune pay attention to leadership, direction, and coordination with the Women’s Union to maintain and develop the “5 Goods, 3 Clean” model and the movement to build flower-lined roads, clean alleys, environmentally friendly residential areas, clean fields, and organic waste sorting and treatment at household level. The Women’s Union of Lien Mac commune actively guides the Bong Mac Hamlet branch to implement the pilot model, and regularly checks, commends, and timely rewards outstanding organizations and individuals to replicate the model in other villages within the commune. Participants in the pilot model proactively assist each other in meeting the criteria of the model while supporting each other in economic development and organizing family life effectively, contributing together to building warm, equal, progressive, and happy families. At the conference, the Women’s Union of Me Linh District presented paper flowers and bio-products to 20 households in Bong Mac hamlet, Lien Mạc commune participating in the “5 Goods, 3 Clean” model.

Also at the conference, the Deputy Director of the Political Center of Me Linh District, Do Dang Khoa, introduced and shared information about the campaign “Building Families with 5 Goods, 3 Clean” and the “5 Goods, 3 Clean” model for the period 2023-2026.
