Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed to a project for restoring and embellishing Dong But pagoda relics, including the following items: Repairing the Three Jewels (Front House, Upper House, Holy Palace), Ancestral House; embellishment of Mother House – Monk House, side gate; lighting, fire prevention and fighting.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism noted that for the items of the Three Houses, the Ancestral House, the Mother House – the Tang Dynasty, it is necessary to add a plan to combat termites; do not use hanging lanterns hanging at the Three Jewels, Mother House – Monk House, and Ancestral House.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has comments and proposes the Hanoi People’s Committee to direct relevant agencies to supplement, complete the documents, and widely announce the project’s content to the People to create consensus and implement the next steps under the law.

Dong But Pagoda (literally called Thien Su tu) is an important architectural and artistic relic of Ngoc Liep commune, Quoc Oai district in particular and of Hanoi city in general. This is an ancient temple dating back to the early locality, a Buddhist architecture built in the Tran Dynasty. The pagoda still retains the ancient architectural style with a unique artistic style. With rich creativity, folk artisans built this pagoda, which to this day is still the pride of every Dong But villager.
