Hanoi City’s 15th Mobile Propaganda Contest, celebrating the 69th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2023), is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. Its purpose is to extensively propagate the historical and cultural traditions of Thang Long – Hanoi over a thousand years of civilization. The contest aims to showcase the graceful and sophisticated behavior, culture, and grandeur of the people of Hanoi; instill political ideology, love for the homeland, cultural beauty, the spirit of great unity, pride, and the will for self-reliance and national strength. Additionally, the event contributes to consolidating and nurturing the people’s trust in the country’s renewal and international integration endeavors. It emphasizes promoting propaganda activities that serve the city’s political, economic, cultural, and social tasks, fostering opportunities for mobile propaganda teams to exchange experiences, learn from each other, and accumulate knowledge to enhance the quality of information dissemination services in various localities. Simultaneously, it serves the practical needs of a diverse population.

The contest is set to take place during six evening sessions across six outdoor stages.

Contest’s theme: Building and Developing the “Civilized, Cultured and Modern” Capital

Scheduled Period for the Contest: From September 20, 2023, to October 8, 2023.

Each district, town, or township participating in the contest will present one program, consisting of one propaganda skit and various musical and dance performances interspersed with the messages of propagandists throughout the show. The total duration for each unit’s performance should not exceed 30 minutes.

A notable feature of Hanoi City’s 15th Mobile Propaganda Contest, celebrating the 69th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, is the division of awards into two categories: Urban District and Town Awards and Suburban District Awards. The prize structure for Urban District and Town Awards includes 01 First Prize; 03 Second Prizes; 5 Third Prizes, and 04 Consolation Prizes. The structure for Suburban Awards includes 01 First Prize; 03 Second Prizes; 5 Third Prizes, and 08 Consolation Prizes. Additionally, the Organizing Committee will award Certificates of Commendation to individuals with outstanding contributions to the organization of the contest. The 15th Mobile Propaganda Contest in Hanoi is scheduled for six evening sessions across six outdoor stages (reducing one session and one area compared to the 14th edition).

The contest aims to meet the entertainment needs and contribute to enhancing the cultural and spiritual life of the people in the capital.

Units interested in participating in the 15th Mobile Propaganda Contest in Hanoi should submit their program registration forms and scripts to the organizing committee via email (Phongttcs@gmail.com). The submission deadline is before August 30, 2023. The script should include the program outline (with commentary by propagandists, titles of songs with authors, and details of musical and dance performances) and a script for the propaganda skit about the Grassroot Propaganda Office, Hanoi Exhibition and Information Center at No. 14 A Trinh Hoai Duc, Cat Linh Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi.

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has issued Plan No. 213/KH-SVHTT regarding the organization of Hanoi City’s 15th Mobile Propaganda Contest and its Regulations. It is recommended that districts, towns, and townships participating in the competition adhere to the plan and regulations for effective implementation.
