The national relic of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most long standing and important architectural complex in Ha Noi and the biggest Confucianist relic in Viet Nam. It is the venue which hightens the sense of honouring teacher and morals, studiousness, respect for country’s talented and righteous people. There remains 82 doctorate stelae recognized by UNESCO as world’s documentary heritage, and the architectural work of Khue Van Cac has been selected a symbol of the thousand-year-culture Capital of Ha Noi.
Annually, the relic has welcome millions of visitors, of which there are many heads of states, diplomats coming from various countries in the world. In 2017, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam was honoured to be awarded the title “the leading tourist attraction in Viet Nam” by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The use of the new signage boards, auto narrating system and tourist ticket office is the first step toward providing guests with better services. And in the coming time, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam will continue to proceed with a number of activities in order to help tourists familiarize with the relic’s values on the one hand, and to make Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam really become a destination and a cultural venue – whereby introducing and promoting Viet Nam’s cultural values, the place that can be connected to the world’s cultures on the other hand.
