This activity is carried out in response to the Music Festival event held in more than 100 countries around the world on June 21 every year. This impromptu festival encourages amateur musicians and artists to voluntarily play music on streets or in public places such as parks or squares, aiming to make sure everyone can enjoy free music performance shows as well as having a try at playing some music instruments.

Music Festival promises to be a very special program for the audience who love music. With a grand piano serving players all day, a movie show in the Hall and the brilliant ending with a series of wonderful performances, the Music Festival will surely captivate all of you.

Piano performance took place from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the L’Espace Hall.

Each person has an opportunity to discover their piano playing ability and their hidden talents. Therefore, a piano will be located in the L’Espace hall for anyone who wants to try. For those who are hesitant, pianist Trang Trinh and her group of talented students will inspire and encourage them to express themselves.

Based on the meetings of past and present prominent artists, director Julian Starke’s film “French Wave” tells about French digital music in the eyes of the young generation. He searched for American techno and house music origins, relived the days when illegal “rave” music festivals were held, and learned about the unusual fate of French Touch music type, which played a decisive role in the fact that digital music was recognized all over the world.

A series of performances by music bands take place from 7:00 P.M. – 10:30 P.M..

To end the Music Festival 2020, a series of performances will be held for free at L’Espace Hall with the participation of 5 talented young Vietnamese music bands which are favored by Vietnamese public: band Mac and the Odd Stones with the unbelievably sweet voice of Mac Mai Suong; Hanoi R&B singer Vu Thanh Van with her rustic, wild and daring voice; band HUB with gentle and dreamy, but sometimes powerful and fierce songs; band Nhung Dua Tre with dreamy and charismatic songs, helping us explore Hanoi, the daily life, dreams and disappointments; and band “Ngot” with sweet and fresh music.
