The Conference aims to promote patriotic emulation movement propaganda activities, and praise typical and exemplary good people with good deeds in all aspects of social life on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2021).

The conference also aims to summarize and evaluate the results of the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” in all aspects of the City in 2021; to set out tasks and measures to continue promoting the movement “Good people, good deeds” in 2022 and the subsequent years. The Conference also recognized the achievements of and praised typical and exemplary good people with good deeds that have made positive contributions to the cause of construction and development of the Capital, and honored individuals winning the title of “Excellent Capital Citizen” in 2021.
The conference is scheduled to take place at 8:30 a.m., October 8, 2021 (Friday) at the Hall of the Hanoi Party Committee (No. 9 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi city).
Hanoi City People’s Committee requests the departments, divisions, branches, the Fatherland Front Committee, city mass organizations, the People’s Committees of districts, towns, and units directly under the City to strengthen the propaganda of patriotic emulation movements, movement “Good people, good deeds”, and to praise typical and exemplary people in an efficient and effective manner. It is required to, based on the actual situation, summarize the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” and award prizes for the writing contest on typical and exemplary good people with good deeds in 2021 at locality and unit level, ensuring Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control as prescribed.
Departments, divisions, branches, mass organizations, and People’s Committees of districts, towns shall prepare physical facilities for online venues at locality and unit level; seek and invite attendees to the Conference to ensure the Conference’s structure and composition; and strictly implement Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control works in accordance with regulations. The Department of Culture and Sports shall formulate plans and conduct propaganda, decoration and promotion in the city, especially the city’s online venues.
