In March 2021 – Youth Month, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Department of Culture and Sports had a dialogue with the youth union members in the spirit of asking, listening and sharing. The dialogue program is an opportunity for the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Culture and Sports to get closer to the youth, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the Youth Union members, listen to the suggestions and advice of the youth on the development of the Capital’s Culture and Sports sector.

With the attention, leadership and creating conditions by the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Youth Union of the Department of Culture and Sports has launched and organized many practical programs and activities to create an environment for young people to practice and also help youth union members realize and promote the sense of responsibility in professional and collective work.
In addition, the Party Committee focused on directing well the work of internal communication, promoting the role of socio-political organizations, especially the youth union. With forms of dialogue between leaders of the Party Committee, professionals and party members, officials, employees, youth union forums… thereby directly grasping the thoughts of party members, officials and employees; At the same time, proactively provide accurate, timely and objective information about the Department’s activities.
In the coming time, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports will continue to lead and direct the Youth Union to be politically and ideologically strong, to build a team of truly typical Youth Union cadres which are capable of mobilizing youth; discover and select elite union members to foster, create a source to admit new party members and train young cadres for units and organizations, promote the role of a strong force of youth union members in their career building the Capital culture & sports; renovate the contents and operation methods of socio-political organizations in the direction of focus, substance and efficiency.
Representatives of mass organizations can attend the Department’s briefings, receive timely instructions to carry out their work tasks and solve problems and difficulties.
Right in the first quarter of 2021, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports has directed the Trade Union of the Department to deploy to all members of the grassroots trade unions affiliated to the organization of the Conference of Cadres, civil servants and public employees in 2021. On January 26, 2021, 17 of 17 units (reaching 100%) of the Department successfully organized the Conference of Cadres, civil servants and public employees in 2021. The conferences were held under regulations, ensuring content, quality & efficiency.
Mrs. Pham Thi My Hoa – member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports attended and directed at the Conference of the Executive Committee and the Trade Union’s Trade Union Committee.
The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Department’s Trade Union was held on April 28 to consolidate the Executive Committee, the Standing Board and the Chairmanship of the Department’s Trade Union for the 2015-2022 term.
Performing its functions, roles and duties, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Trade Union of the Department has done a good job of taking care of the lives of union members, cadres, civil servants, public employees and charitable social activities. On the occasion of the Tan Suu Lunar New Year 2021, the Trade Union of the Department supported 38 members with difficult circumstances, 04 members with extremely difficult circumstances with a total amount of VND 27 million. The member trade unions have also paid attention, encouraged and visited disadvantaged members on the occasion of the Lunar New Year as well as organized practical activities for female union members to celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8).
The Trade Union of the Department also organizes patriotic emulation movements among cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees, contributing to successfully completing the socio-economic development tasks of the capital and the country, also building a strong trade union organization, improving the quality and performance of the trade union staff.
The Department of Veterans’ Association has only over 90 members working in 12 branches, so there are certain difficulties in implementing activities. However, under the close direction of the Department’s Party Committee, the enthusiasm and dedication of the members bearing the character of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”, the Department’s Veterans Association has organized visits to return to old battlefields and revise traditions; also, the Association has donated to support the construction of 02 houses of gratitude for poor households… The Party Committee of the Department has directed to remove the Association’s difficulties in equipping members with uniforms, as well as stabilizing, maintain activities, so that the members are really role models in their efforts, striving to complete well the assigned professional tasks.
The Party Committee also requested socio-political organizations to strictly implement periodical reports according to the working regulations of the Party Committee, properly perform the role of the subject in supervision, criticism and suggestions on party and unit building.
