On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reunification of the country and the birthday of Uncle Ho on May 19, the Pioneering Performance Team of the Hanoi Cheo Theater consisted of 6 artists, led by Distinguished Artist Le Tuan, was honored to go to Truong Sa Islands to serve the soldiers. The team is one of the members of the Truong Sa mission No. 4 of Hanoi city in 2022.
In Truong Sa Islands, the Pioneering Performance Team of Hanoi Cheo Theater together with artists in the 4th delegation performed many cheo tunes, cheo excerpts, singing and dancing, music, and art exchanges with soldiers on Truong Sa islands. Dozens of performances on the islands, on the Sea House and on the Navy ship performed by the Pioneering Performance Team of the Hanoi Cheo Theater has left a deep impression on the soldiers on the island, such as a comedy excerpt the motorbike taxi ride at the end of the day, the village head and Dop, the fortuneteller went to the market; cultural performances, cheo singing, literary singing, copper prices; and revolutionary songs. In particular, the performances about the sea and islands by the artists of the Hanoi Cheo Theater left a deep impression and warmed the hearts of the soldiers on the island, such as Very close to Truong Sa, Spring of Mother’s Love performed by artist Thuy Nga. In addition, there are performances rowing boat singing (duet) and Dao Lieu performed by artist Quynh Trang and comedy show motorbike taxi by 2 Meritorious Artists Ngoc Phu and Le Tuan, etc./.
