In order for the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” to develop deeply, the District Office of Culture and Information has coordinated with functional departments to promote communication; organized professional training courses for officials in charge of culture – society, members of the steering committee of communes and townships to participate in the direction and administration of grassroots movements. Identified as one of the core contents of the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life”, the movement of building cultural families has always been concerned and implemented by localities. Communes, towns, villages and residential areas have focused on building and amending their convention and convention to suit the local development reality; promote propaganda and dissemination of criteria for building cultural families, cultural villages and residential areas for people to know and implement.
Up to now, 100% of villages, hamlets and quarters in the district have built their conventions and regulations that are responded and strictly observed by the people; nearly 89% of households achieved the title of Cultural Family; 76% of villages and 75% of agencies, units, and enterprises achieve the title of culture. As a result, the traditional cultural values and beauty of the elegant and civilized Hanoi people have been inherited and promoted. Agencies and units pay more attention to environmental sanitation; Many localities do not have social evils, no people break the law, etc. Schools at all levels regularly organize extracurricular activities to foster knowledge for students, thereby helping them to have living skills, actively contributing to building a healthy educational environment. The cultural and civilized lifestyles, especially in weddings, funerals and festivals have had many positive changes; the people’s awareness of law observance has been improved. Up to now, the district has had 237 cremations. People’s Committees of communes and towns send letters to congratulate couples on marriage registration together with regulations on implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings.
The implementation of the campaign for 3 clean “Clean water, clean environment, clean agriculture”, disease prevention and 2 sets of Code of Conduct of the city are supported by sectors, levels, units and enthusiastically responded and participated by people, 100% of schools, communes and towns organized score models according to each content. In order to create favorable conditions for social connection, as well as creating the environment, landscape, building a civilized, clean and beautiful lifestyle, the district has completed the mounting of public signage in communes and towns and deployed road naming plan and house number plates in Phuc Tho town; built and maintained the flower roads, added several frescoes in Phung Thuong, Sen Chieu and Hiep Thuan communes; organized the contest “Keeping green, clean, beautiful streets”.
Tuong Phieu communal house (Tich Giang commune, Phuc Tho district) is one of the places of cultural activities connecting the community.
Culture, arts and sports movements have also seen new developments. Every year, localities have mobilized people to set up and join cultural clubs and teams, cultural arts and sports. All communes and townships have planned land funds to build cultural and sports institutions; promote socialization, mobilize people and children away from hometown to contribute to building cultural houses, sports grounds, purchasing equipment for villages. Thanks to that, up to now, 100% of villages have cultural houses, sports areas, creating a healthy playground, increasing solidarity and attachment in the community, contributing to preserving and promoting cultural traditions of the countryside.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Steering Committee of the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” in Phuc Tho district focuses on directing and implementing synchronous solutions to improve the quality of activities, bringing the movement step by step into depth and quality. Also, promoting communication, effectively integrating grassroots movements into the movement “All people unite to build cultural life”; promoting the implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals, and building a new countryside; strengthening the inspection and supervision of the movement implementation, in order to replicate and praise the good models, good practices, to drive the movement “All people unite to build cultural life more prosperous.
