Towards building a cultural, civilized and healthy environment in festival activities.
The plan creates a positive change in the management and organization of the festival, reduce offensive images, jostling, pushing, commercializing, taking advantage of the festival for improper interest, preserve and promote good values in festivals, towards building a cultural, civilized and healthy environment in festival activities.
Thereby, it also aims to promote the role of the family, community and society in building a cultural environment, making culture a driving factor for Vietnamese people to perfect their personalities, and prevent and repel social ethical degradation.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the contents of propaganda for implementing a civilized lifestyle in the festivals must closely follow the contents, criteria and views of Scheme for propaganda for implementing a civilized lifestyle in the festivals in period 2020 – 2021; introduce the cultural beauty of civilized behaviors in the festivals and festival models and organizers who implement effectively the propagation and implementation of the civilized life in the festivals.
In addition, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the contents and forms of propagation are short, easy-to-understand, and suitable to Vietnam’s social practices, customs and cultural characteristics.
In recent years, the management and organization of festivals in the whole country have had positive changes and been orderly. All levels and branches from the central to local levels pay attention to strengthening the direction and guidance for the Relic Management Boards and Festival Organizing Board and strictly implementing the provisions of the law on organizing festivals, preserving and promoting the beautiful traditional cultural values of the festivals. The festival activities take place solemnly, safely, economically and effectively with many vibrant cultural, sports and folk games that meet the people’s cultural and spiritual needs, contributing to the education on the fine tradition of the festivals.
