The event aims to strengthen regional linkages in trade and tourism promotion activities between Ha Giang province and Hanoi city; promote the introduction and promotion of the unique cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in Ha Giang province to Hanoi public and domestic and foreign tourists.

Participants were the Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation, Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue; Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Youth Union of the 14th term of Ha Giang province, Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Son.

Culture, tourism and trade space of Ha Giang province in Hanoi – 2020 introduced 24 booths displaying typical agricultural products and products from Ha Giang land, such as: yellow oranges, King oranges, Shan tuyet tea, mint honey, rice, soybeans, peanuts, hanging meat, smoked meat from black pigs, native buffaloes and cows, etc.; typical cultural heritages include: geological and geomorphological heritages; handicraft; traditional festival; folk dance, etc. Also on this occasion, the Organizing Committee introduces visitors to the exhibition of pictures of the beauty of Ha Giang people, such as: Hoang Su Phi terraced fields, Quan Ba ​​mountain, Yen Minh pine forest, Tu San alley, Ma Pi Leng pass, Dong Van old town, Lung Cu flagpole, etc.; the tea-rewarding cultural space introduces specialties of ancient Shan tuyet tea, demonstrates the traditional techniques of making fibers and weaving, and shows the ‘khen’ dance, etc. with the participation of many typical artists.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Son affirmed that Ha Giang – the mountainous, border and northern province of the country – wishes to bring Hanoi capital a space rich, diverse and unique culture, tourism and commerce; where the public and visitors experience the most quintessential features of nature, culture and people of Ha Giang. The event is also an opportunity to introduce and promote strong local products; opens opportunities for trade linkages for businesses, production and business cooperatives to improve the value of specialty products in Ha Giang associated with tourism development.

 Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Son spoke at the opening ceremony.

  “Over the past years, Ha Giang province has always received the attention and favorable conditions of Hanoi city in organizing events to promote culture, tourism and trade in the capital. Thereby, the relationship between Hanoi capital and Ha Giang province is increasingly strong. Ha Giang province hopes that in the coming time, it will continue to receive help and support from Hanoi city, the support from the capital people and tourists, so that the cultural heritages, the beauty of Ha Giang’s land and people are increasingly known more widely and deeply”, Mr. Nguyen Van Son emphasized.
