The Birthday Celebration of Queen Elizabeth II is one of the most important national foreign affairs events of the UK taking place every year at British Embassies in countries around the world, including Vietnam. Every year, the UK regularly sends Army trumpet groups to perform at all the above events organized by the British Ambassadors.

This year, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the British Queen’s reign and towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of foreign relations between Vietnam and the United Kingdom in 2023, the Embassy proposed to film the band at Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi to promote cultural exchange activities on the British Embassy’s media to the public and people of Vietnam and the UK.

This is an activity of practical significance, an opportunity for Hanoi city to introduce and promote images of special national monuments and unique cultural traditions of the thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi to the British people, contributing to improving understanding and strengthening the traditional friendship relationship between the two countries in general and Hanoi capital in particular, promoting comprehensive development cooperation in many fields, including economy, politics, investment, and tourism./.
