The event includes ceremonial activities, such as: Commemoration for Greate Father Lac Long Quan and Incense offering ceremony to commemorate Great Mother Au Co held on the March 6 in Lunar Year; The incense offering ceremony in memory of the Hung Kings held on the March 10 in Lunar year and the flower offering ceremony at the bas-relief “Uncle Ho talked to officials and soldiers of the Pioneer Army”; Incense offering ceremony at Hung King historical relics, famous people and generals in Hung Vuong period in the province. Besides, there are also the meeting activities including 12 traditional activities, organized at a scale suitable to the requirements of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, etc.
Hung Kings Commemoration – Hung Temple Festival 2022 is associated with the 10th anniversary of “Hung King worship ritual in Phu Tho”. The worship ritual was recognized by Cultural Heritage by the Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage. The event focused on promoting the patriotic spirit and the great unity of the nation and focused on the people to create favorable conditions for localities and people nationwide to directly organize practical activities for showing gratitude for our origin and ancestors.
