Being well aware of the meaning of the 31st SEA Games, since Hanoi had a plan to organize the 31st Southeast Asian Games, the entire political system of Thanh Xuan district jointly prepared the best conditions, determined to successfully organize the 31st SEA Games in the area. The urban face of Thanh Xuan district was brightly decorated. Streets were clean and beautiful. On the face of every resident of the district, joy and enthusiasm are shown to welcome the unique event that was about to take place in the area.
Before and during the 31st SEA Games, Thanh Xuan district issued nearly 20 documents to implement the task and held many meetings to implement the work of serving the competition, then summarized the difficulties and problems in the process of implementation, and reported them to the District People’s Committee leaders to promptly direct the settlement, ensuring the requirements and progress set forth.

The renovation, repair and upgrading of Hero World Bowling Center completed on schedule to put it into good service for the required events. The competition area, function rooms, facilities and equipment for competitions ensured the conditions and standards of the Bowling Federation. The district installed 03 stands to serve delegates and spectators to watch and cheer for the athletes, etc.
The Military Command of the district coordinated with the Thanh Xuan District Public Security, the security forces of the Central and Hanoi City to well organize the traffic assurance, well organize the traffic separation, and prevent traffic jams at the area where the Bowling events would take place. Political security, social order and safety, fire prevention before, during and after the 31st SEA Games were always guaranteed. Health work was implemented synchronously by Thanh Xuan district, ensuring all conditions for COVID-19 prevention and control. The inspection of food safety and hygiene in the days of the Games was seriously implemented. The district directed specialized units to arrange staffs, medical staffs, sufficient number of drugs, first aid tools and equipment.
The People’s Committee of 11/11 wards deployed widely communication and propaganda to people of all walks of life to know and respond to the 31st SEA Games taking place in the district to raise awareness of the people, creating clear changes in the movement of physical training and sports, enhancing the people’s health, and preventing and fighting epidemics. 100% of the wards organized a general environmental cleaning campaign and decorated in public areas and offices, contributing to making Thanh Xuan more beautiful in the eyes of tourists, etc.

Thanh Xuan District was honored to be the venue for Bowling, held at Hero World Bowling Center (Vincom Megamall, 72A Nguyen Trai Street, Thuong Dinh Ward). At the 31st SEA Games, Bowling competition took place from May 16, 2022 to May 19, 2022, featured with 72 athletes and coaches from 06/11 Southeast Asian countries, including: Indonesia ,Vietnam; Malaysia; Thai Land; Philippines; Singapore, competing in 06 events (men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, 4-man team, 4-woman team).

After 04 exciting days of competition, Bowling held at Thanh Xuan district was successfully completed, leaving many impressions for domestic audiences as well as international friends about the investment in facilities and technology. professional organization, security and order, health care and the warm welcome of the Organizing Committee. Audiences who came to Hero World Bowling Center to watch were always full, showing their interest in this competition. There were endless cheers not only for pairs of athletes from Vietnam but also for pairs of athletes from other countries, leaving a deep impression on foreign athletes attending the 31st SEA Games.
After 4 days of competition, the gold medal in men’s singles went to the Filipino athlete with 1292 points; Silver medal belonged to athletes of Thailand with 1286 points. The Indonesian athlete won the bronze medal with 1221 points. The gold medal in women’s singles belonged to the athlete of Singapore with 1442 points; Athlete from the Philippines won silver medal with 1320 points, bronze medal went to athletes from Singapore with 1319 points. In the men’s doubles, the gold medal belonged to the athletes of the Indonesian team 1 with a total score of 2,642 points; The silver medal was awarded to the athletes of the Singapore team 1 with a total score of 2592 points and the bronze medal went to the athletes of the Singapore team 2 with a total score of 2551 points. In the women’s doubles, the gold medal went to the athletes of the Singapore team 1 with a total score of 2767 points; The silver medal belonged to the pair of athletes of the Indonesian team 2 with a total score of 2478 points; The bronze medal was awarded to the athletes of the Malaysian team 1 with a total score of 2471. In the 4-Man team event, the Philippines team won the gold medal with a record of 5275 points; Silver medal was awarded to the Malaysian team with 5162 points and the bronze medal went to the Singapore team with a score of 4963. In the 4-woman team event, the gold medal was awarded to the Singapore team with a score of 5049 points; Malaysian team won silver medal with 4951 points; The bronze medal belonged to the Indonesian team with a record of 4843 points.
