In many localities, the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Departments of Culture and Sports, the Departments of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism have coordinated with the Departments of Education and Training to develop an interdisciplinary plan to organize the Preliminary round. Therefore, the contest has received a wide response from schools, teachers and students, forming a positive emulation movement in schools and contributing to the formation and spread of the reading habit in school age.
Despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and implementing social distancing in some localities, up to this point, many units have collected entries for the preliminary round and organized grading and selection.
According to quick reports from units and localities, the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2021 in the preliminary round has attracted hundreds of thousands of entries, typically: Ha Nam (nearly 50,000 entries), Quang Ninh (more than 50,000 entries), and Quang Ninh (more than 50,000 entries), 47,000 entries), Gia Lai (nearly 30,000 entries), Phu Yen (more than 11,000 entries), Binh Duong (nearly 8,000 entries), Thanh Hoa (more than 6,000 entries), etc. Through preliminary assessment of localities, this year’s entries were carefully invested not only in terms of content but also in forms; many of the entries were decorated and designed into vivid and beautiful models.
In Hanoi, as of June 25, 2021, the 1st Hanoi Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2021 has received 9,806 entries and 93 video clips. The contest will continue to receive entries from candidates across the city until the end of July 15, 2021, after which the preliminary assessment will be conducted. The excellent entries of the preliminary round will be selected to participate in the final round organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before July 31, 2021.
The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is organized to arouse interest and passion for reading among teenagers and children, thereby encouraging the promotion of plagiarism among the young generation, forming reading habits and skills for students, contributing to the development of reading culture in schools and the community.
With the organization of the Contest, the Organizing Committee hopes that students will continue to promote their passion for reading, share good books, effective reading methods, and encourage people to read books to inspire and spread the love of reading and reading culture in the community.
