In order to effectively implement Directive 05, Long Bien District Party Committee has led and directed the implementation of the Directive with Central Resolution 4 (12th session). In particular, the District Party Committee especially focuses on fostering a contingent of qualified and capable cadres; building and implementing public service ethics, professional ethics, raising the sense of responsibility for implementing the duties of each officer, public employee, meeting the requirements of the task in the new situation; organizing the serious implementation of disciplines, administrative discipline, promoting the implementation of a civilized lifestyle, office culture combined with patriotic emulation campaigns and movements in all fields of social life. Party committees at all levels have promptly directed the extensive communication of the implementation of Directive 05 to cadres, party members and people through many forms: branch activities, unions, district web portal, the radio system, the district’s internal newsletter, seminars, contests for excellent reporters, comments (by secret ballots), etc., built some pilot models in the implementation of Directive 05 and Central Resolution 4. Along with directing the Party grassroots organizations to conduct thematic activities on learning, following Uncle Ho every year, the District Party Committee also instructs cadres and party members to develop cultivation plans in accordance with the actual conditions of each person; implementing the task “Year to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system” of Hanoi city, etc. Through that, educating Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in the district is seriously deployed, achieving quality as required.

Up to now, the implementation of Directive 05 in Long Bien district has become a vibrant emulation movement of each branch, locality and unit. The Fatherland Front Committee communicates the Directive associated with promoting action programs and movements such as the campaign “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas”, “All people unite to build agriculture, new village, civilized urban”. Veterans Association is with the model “Exemplary veterans in conducting economic development, improving their lives, eradicating poverty, eradicating dilapidated houses”. Women’s Union is with the model “Saving and raising plastic pigs” and the model “Waste collection to raise funds” to give gifts to women in difficult circumstances; communicating the campaign “Capital women behave beautifully in the period 2019-2021”. The Youth Union builds up an example “Advanced youth follow Uncle Ho”. People’s Committees of wards implement the model of “One-door system is friendly and close to people”. Branches, residential groups, agencies, units and enterprises have chosen the model “Volunteering for the environment” to well implement the theme “Action for a green – clean – beautiful – civilized Long Bien”, etc.
From studying and following Uncle Ho, Long Bien district has appeared many advanced examples of learning Uncle Ho from simple, specific, typical jobs such as veteran Nguyen Van Le in Quarter 11 (Phuc Loi Ward) is well known to many local people for its success in household economic development; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien, Party member of Quarter 7, has made efforts to develop the economy to create jobs for local workers and actively participated in environmental sanitation, tree trimming, and clean & beautiful landscape for the living residence, etc. Not only individuals but also many collectives also have good and useful jobs for the community. It can be mentioned, the district Women’s Union – a bright spot for studying, following Uncle Ho. In addition to organizing seminars, exchanges and seminars to spread beautiful values in Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style, women members have “raised plastic pigs” to save that attracting more than 85% of members to participate, the money is used to provide loans to disadvantaged members without interest, helping women to develop production and business out of poverty. The Party Committee of Phuc Dong ward, through talks, identifies and struggles with degenerative manifestations, has promptly consolidated and determined to replace some street cadres who failed to complete their tasks, making the apparatus lean, operating effectively, contributing to achieving a clean and strong Party Committee for many years. The Party Committee of Thuong Thanh ward, through secret votes from subordinates to the Secretary of the Party Committee and the Chairman of the Ward People’s Committee, really appreciated the role of the leader in cultivating, cultivating morality and working style, etc. The efforts that Long Bien district has achieved in studying and following the example of Uncle Ho are recognized and appreciated by the Standing Committee of Hanoi City Party Committee.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Long Bien District Party Committee will promote communication for the implementation of Directive 05 under the theme of the year 2020 “Strengthening the great groups of national unity, building the Party and the main system to be clean and strong according to Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style”. The District Party Committee encourages collectives and individuals to have more creative, practical and effective models in the implementation process. Along with that, the District Party Committee will continue to improve the quality of political and ideological education for officials, party members and people, striving to build Long Bien district into a typical locality in learning and following Uncle Ho’s example.
