Stepping up communication on the 10-year results of expanding the Capital’s administrative boundaries
Hanoi Party Committee has just issued the Plan No. 85-KH/TU on disseminating the results of the 10-year implementation of the Resolution No. 15 of the 12th National Assembly on expanding Hanoi City’s administrative boundaries (January, 2018 – August 1, 2018).

Dissemination activities aiming at affirming the correctness, historical value and practical and long-term significance of the expansion of administrative boundaries in order to exploit and promote all potentials and strengths to build and develop the Capital increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern; further raise the awareness and responsibility of all levels, branches, officials, Party members, armed forces and the people in preserving and promoting the tradition of the thousand years of civilization and heroism of Thang Long – Hanoi, thereby consolidating and strengthening the belief in the leadership of the Party and the City government for the cause of construction, protection and development of the Capital in the new situation.
Its content focuses on disseminating the remarkable achievements gained after 10 years of expanding its administrative boundaries in all areas of economic, cultural-social, construction-urban management, consolidation of national defense and security, expansion of cooperation, integration, development and construction of the Party and political system at all levels, etc. to contribute to raise the position, prestige, potential, enhance the industrialization and modernization of the capital, at the same time, to intensify the introduction and promotion of the capital’s image with the localities in the country and international friends.
The dissemination activities are organized in many forms, which are rich, solemn, thrifty, and effective, focused, associated with celebrations of the great anniversaries of the Capital and the country, etc.

Accordingly, the City government will step up dissemination activities on the mass media, open specialized pages, columns in newspapers, radio, and bulletin of the City, take advantage of the central media and press agencies and local authorities throughout the country.
Organize a press conference to inform about the organization of dissemination activities on 10-year results of implementation of the Resolution No. 15 of the National Assembly on the expansion of the Capital’s administrative boundaries.
Through a network of reporters at all levels (including cities, districts, towns, affiliated Party Committees), communicators, collaborators of public opinion, artists and intellectuals, to provide in-depth information of the 10-year results of implementation of the Resolution No. 15 of the National Assembly to officials, party members, people and armed forces in the Capital.
Compile and distribute dissemination materials, documentary films and literary and artistic creations on the achievements of the renovation and development of the Capital, especially in the period 2008-2018. Direct the communication on the “Internal Information” Bulletin of Party Committee’s Dissemination Department for inclusion in the contents of Party cells and socio-political organizations.
Organize communications and visualization activities on the streets, centers of districts and towns, offices of agencies, units and public places with crowed population, etc. Organize cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports, information and exhibitions, to introduce the achievements of economic, cultural and social development, science and technology, urban planning and management, national defense – security, foreign affairs, integration, development, etc. of the Capital.
Organize conferences and specialized seminars on outstanding achievements gained by the Capital after 10 years of expanding administrative boundaries and propose solutions to continue effective implementation of the Resolution No. 15 of the National Assembly; summarize the 10-year implementation of the Directive No. 17-CT/TU, dated August 6, 2009 of the Hanoi Party Committee on “Strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels for the collection and compilation of Vietnam Communist Party history and the traditional revolutionary education”; hold talk shows on Raising the quality of traditional revolutionary education and preservation, enhance and promotion of revolutionary relics in Hanoi “.
Organize city-level conferences to review 10-year implementation of the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 15; conference on praising and honoring the outstanding individuals and organizations in implementing the Directive No. 03-CT/TW, the Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on studying and following the President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style (in the period 2008 – 2018).
Launch a high-emulation stage in officials, civil servants, employees, laborers, people and armed forces of the Capital to commemorate the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s “Call for Patriotic Emulation” and 10 years of implementing Resolution No.15 of the National Assembly.
The peak of this campaign will be in June and July 2018.
