Strengthening the movement of traditional martial arts training by students in schools

Vietnam Sports Administration has issued a training plan of 03 “fundamental skills” traditional martial arts and developed the traditional martial arts training movement in schools in 2018. Accordingly, the trainees are officials, coaches and teachers of sport and physical training in the sector of culture, sports and tourism, and education & training in 63 provinces..

Accordingly, the trainees are officials, coaches and teachers of sport and physical training in the sector of culture, sports and tourism, and education & training in 63 provinces and cities nationwide. It is expected that each course will have about 100 to120 trainees, in which each province and city will be assigned 5-6 trainees (01 education official, 01 culture, sports and tourism official and 03-04 teachers of schools) to attend.
The training course aims to promote the movement of training traditional martial arts of students in schools, to improve their health, height, physical strength and moral education and traditional culture.
As planned, the training venues are organized in three areas, i.e. the Northern venue in Hai Duong province, expected time from 09 to 15 July 2018; the Central – Central Highlands in Thua Thien Hue province, expected from 17 to 23 September 2018; the Southern in Binh Duong province, expected from 22 to 28 October 2018.
Throughout the training course, trainees will be equipped with knowledge about the development of the traditional martial arts movement for adolescents and students in schools; instructed methods of traditional martial arts training; trained and exchanged experience on the dissemination of three traditional martial arts for students of schools and the development of traditional martial arts, etc.

The training course is on the Coordination program with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the direction, management and organization of physical education and sport activities for the period 2016-2020. The training course will help promote the movement of schools’ students participating in traditional martial arts to improve their health, height, physical strength, moral education and traditional culture.
