The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just issued the Official Letter No. 3078/BVHTTDL-VHCS to the heads of agencies and units under the Ministry, and the leaders of: Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Departments of Culture and Sports; Departments of Culture, Information, Sports, and Tourism; and Departments of Tourism of the provinces and centrally-run cities with respect to the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 1099/CD-TTg of the Prime Minister.
The Official Letter clearly states that in implementing the Prime Minister’s Official Dispatch No. 1099/CD-TTg dated August 22, 2021, on strengthening social distancing and COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism requests agencies and units under the Ministry; Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Departments of Culture and Sports; Departments of Culture, Information, Sports, and Tourism; and Departments of Tourism of the provinces and centrally-run cities to thoroughly disseminate the Prime Minister’s Official Dispatch No. 1099/CD-TTg on strengthening social distancing and COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures to all officials, civil servants, public employees, and employees, and to strictly apply disciplines and rules in strengthening social distancing and COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures, ensuring to prevent and control the pandemic at a grassroots level.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism requires its affiliated agencies, units, and Departments to proactively conduct propaganda in the suitable forms on examples of good people and good deeds, spirit of solidarity, mutual love and affection; ask and encourage people to voluntarily comply with regulations on social distancing and pandemic prevention and control measures to build the social consensus; encourage and inspire the people with the spirit of “Good always wins over evil”, “Positive always prevails over negative”.
To effectively implement Plan No. 2796/KH-BVHTTDL dated August 6, 2021, made by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on guiding people to take physical exercise to improve their health and physical strength, and prevent and repel any disease in the period 2021-2025 with the slogan “Physical exercise beats COVID-19”.
To be continuously aware of the COVID-19 pandemic condition to efficiently conduct the communication and propaganda; ensuring the prompt, honest, accurate, and objective prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, contributing to raising people’s awareness in the implementation of pandemic prevention and control measures; To resolutely fight against and refute misrepresentation, hostility, false, wrong, and malicious information related to COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control work.
