“Thức” Thời is a journey to learn “Food” of Hanoi in each Period, to awaken the love and pride of young people with Hanoi’s culinary culture of each era – past, modern and future.
“Thức” Thời will find the roots of Hanoi’s cuisine during the colonial and subsidized times, witnessing that culture change with the flow of the times, and then become familiar in the lives of young Hanoians today.
“Thức” Thời is also the passion and love of Hanoi Unbox for everyone – the children of the S-shaped land, those who have an indelible affection for the Capital and its deep culture.
The talk took place with the presence of two speakers, Nam Thi – former Content Director of Vietnam Traveler Magazine – a publication of the Vietnam Tourism Association and writer Nguyen Truong Quy, the winner of the Bui Xuan Phai Prize – For the love of Hanoi in 2019 with the work “ Một thời Hà Nội hát – Tim cũng không ngờ làm nên lời ca “. The writer, Nguyen Truong Quy is loved with a series of works about Hanoi with interesting perspectives such as: Tự nhiên như người Hà Nội, Ăn phở rất khó thấy ngon, Hà Nội là Hà Nội, Xe máy tiếu ngạo, Còn ai hát về Hà Nội, Dưới cột đèn rót một ấm trà, Mỗi góc phố một người đang sống, etc.
Hanoi Unbox – Hanoi cultural and tourism box integrated with digital data is a project in the Top 5 finalists of the Talented Communicator Contest – IC Master 2021. IC Master – Talented Communicator, the annual contest is organized by the Faculty of Communication and External Culture – Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam to find young, dynamic and creative communicators in Hanoi, thereby encouraging ideas and novel projects for current social problems. Hanoi Unbox specializes in cultural tourism in the direction of self-experience.
