The Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and branches and unions have focused on communicating and grasping thoroughly for cadres, party members, union members and members the content of the Directive associated with exam movements, patriotic racing, assigned tasks.100% of units in the district have concretized the task of learning and following the Uncle in the program, action plan of the party committee to implement the resolutions of the 12th Congress of the Party and resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels, term 2015-2020. Schools in the area have organized traditional educational sessions for students and maintained the implementation of the model “Do diary to follow Uncle Ho”. Implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW, the district Women’s Union at all levels has had many typical models such as “Raising saving plastic pigs”, “Love jar of rice”, “Charity group of porridge cooking”, “Saving recyclables and planting trees”, etc. In which, the groups “Moringa OleiferaVolunteer”, “ Trieu Khuc Volunteer”, “Compassionate Peace”, “Charity Porridge Cooking Group on 70 Cau Buou Street” organizing charity porridge cooking for poor patients treated at National Burn Hospital, K Hospital, Tan Trieu. From the support of the members, the amount of the group’s activities is over VND 2 billion/year, helping poor patients alleviate difficulties in the treatment process.
The Veterans Association of Thanh Tri district has implemented many practical activities to improve the lives of officials, members and people. Implementing Project 03 – Multi/CCB of the City’s Association for Veterans’ Affairs, “Capital Veterans unite to help members develop economic, improve their lives, reduce poverty, erase dilapidated houses in the period 2014-2017” Association level is always interested in encouraging members and their families to learn about many effective economic development investment models, creating loans for members to invest over VND 31 billion to invest in production, business and life development. Currently, there are only 8 poor households in the district (accounting for 1%, due to force majeure).

Thanh Tri district union has effectively deployed many movements: “Promoting socio-economic development and protecting the Fatherland”, “Accompanying with young people to start a career”, “I love Hanoi”, organizing general environmental sanitation, etc., thereby, helping the youth union members to have a deeper understanding of Uncle Ho’s life, career and great merits to the people of the country in order to more respect the history and tradition and value of independence and freedom, thereby constantly striving to rise in life, to have practical jobs in the local socio-economic development.
In the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT /TW, many typical examples have appeared in the district area such as Mr. Trieu Dinh Hong, Tan Trieu commune, for 43 years, taught nearly 50 children in the village and the pupils of the village. Tan Trieu Secondary School maintains and preserves the “ Điệu múa cổ Con đĩ đánh Bồng “. In 2019, he was conferred the title of “Eminent Artist” by the State President. Mr. Nguyen Van Thiem, Dai Ang high-tech seafood cooperative, Dai Ang commune, boldly invested in building the model “River fish in the pond” with revenue of VND 4.2 billion, creating jobs for 10 workers. Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Huyen, Teacher of Chu Van An Secondary School, Mr. Bui Van Tuan, Teacher of Ngoc Hoi Secondary School, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu, Teacher of Primary School A, Van Dien town, achieved first prize at the city level in the period of excellent teacher contest, Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang, preschool teacher in Vinh Quynh commune won the excellent prize at the city level. The student named Dang The Hai, Chu Van An Secondary School won the Gold Medal in Science, Silver Medal in Mathematics for the ASMO International Olympic Competition, etc. In 2019, the district authority rewarded and praised 18 collectives and 33 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 50 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.
