Looking forwards to the celebration of holidays of the nation and the Capital (the 40th anniversary of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, the 50th anniversary of Operation Linebacker II victory, and 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army), recently, Thanh Tri District Youth Union collaborated with the district’s Culture, Information and Sports Center to successfully organize the Youth Sports Game 2022.
The Sport Games attracted the participation of 26 affiliated union faculties, with more than 500 officials, Youth Union members and youngsters. Athletes competed in the following games: Tug of war, Men’s doubles badminton and Women’s doubles badminton. In order to promote the spirit of honesty, nobility and solidarity, the athletes devoted to the audience superb, beautiful and attractive matches.
At the end of the Sports Game, for Tug of war content, the Organizer awarded the First prize to Thanh Liet commune team, the Second prize to Nguyen Quoc Trinh High School, the Third prize to Ngu Hiep commune team and Ngo Thi Nham High School. For badminton content, the First prize in Men’ doubles was awarded to Tu Hiep commune; the First prize in Mixed doubles was awarded to Vinh Quynh commune; the First prize in Women’s doubles was awarded to Huu Hoa commune, etc.
Thanh Tri District Youth Sports Game 2022 was an amazing success. The Sport Games has affirmed the growth of the mass sport movement in general and the youth sport movement in particular. This is a healthy and useful playground, an opportunity for Union members and young people to socialize, learn and at the same time, spread the spirit of health training following the great Uncle Ho’s example among the people of all classes in the area.
